Tallship Soren Larsen ~ 2003 Archive Voyage Logs

The tallship adventure in the Pacific concludes for 2003
with the ship's arrival back at Princes Wharf Auckland. Tod took the ship up the harbour and sailed back under the Harbour Bridge under tops'ls to impress the welcoming committee waiting on wharf.

Ian and Andy caught the lines and Tony and Fleur joined past voyage crew, ex crew and new crew in cheering the ship in - and signing Happy Birthday to Mikkel - who had a double celebration today! For the crew and Emil and Syd the proceedings marked the last day of their 5 months together in the Pacific, but any reflection or sadness at the end of the adventure was tempered by the knowlegde that with Soren, its never really goodbye...
