Tall Ship Soren Larsen ~ South Pacific Sail Training Adventure for all ages
Tall Ship
Soren Larsen
2008-09 New Zealand
Summer Voyaging
Sail the coast and explore the islands of the North Island's Hauraki Gulf and Bay of Islands aboard this magnificently restored square rigger.
Join the crew for a short voyage through the pristine waters that Captain James Cook first charted 240 years ago.
The bays and islands of the Hauraki Gulf are a protected Marine Park and seabirds, dolphins and whales abound in its waters. On these 5 night adventures we aim to take you to places that would otherwise be inaccessible, hike ashore and see unique New Zealand wildlife.
The essential New Zealand sailing programme for this summer.
Lets plan your adventure now!
'Islands of the Hauraki Gulf' voyages depart from and return to the ship's berth on Princes Wharf, Auckland.
Hauraki Gulf/ Bay of Islands voyages start from Auckland and finish at Russell, or vice versa. The coach journey between Auckland and the Bay of Islands takes about 4 hours and we can
arrange this for you if you wish.
Voyage berth cost includes 3 meals a day onboard Soren Larsen. Wine, beer and other drinks are available and paid for individually.
If your sailing trip with Soren Larsen is part of a longer holiday to New Zealand then perhaps we can offer advice about places to see, activities and accommodation outside of your sailing holiday that will help you plan your time in this magnificent country.
